I was on Cilest originally, and then swapped to Cilique and very recently they have had a supply issue and so switched onto Lizinna. I missed one pill last month (due to not collecting prescription on time) and then spotted consistently until I had a 7 day break and had a “period.” A week back on it now since the break and so far so good and no noticeable changes from using Cilique.

Was on Cilique for around 6 years and had to unexpectedly change to Lizinna when there was a nationwide shortage of Cilique. Despite being told Lizinna was essentially the same hormone ingredients as Cilique, my skin has got a lot better (less acne) on Lizinna in a relatively short period of time. Have had a couple of episodes of cystitis since being on Lizinna but this could be due to other factors - I’m not convinced this is due to the change in pill. No noticeable changes since being on Lizinna besides better skin

I was using Rigevidon in the last 6-7 years, and I had no problem with that, except that I had random headaches sometimes and I lost all my sex drive - so badly, that my husband started to complain, so I reached out for my GP to look for an other one. This is when I went onto Lizinna pill. Well, where to start.. Not only my sex drive didn't improve, but I started to gain weight very quick, even though I am doing strict diet and I cut down on alcohol a lot. I have only used 1,5 leaf of the pill, I am now going back to Rigevidon straight away!

Much better than any of my previous pills. My sex drive is better / back to normal and that’s the biggest thing I wanted! I feel like I am gaining weight though, and I have found myself feeling more anxious than my previous pills. Also, if I forget my pill (even once) it sends me into a full hormonal meltdown. I forgot to take it after a night out and the next day I was an absolute crying mess! Normally, it’s okay though, one of the better ones!

I’ve been taking this pill on and off for 10 years - I was put on it at 15 to regulate my mood, which really worked. I always have light, easy periods and haven’t had many side effects (other than finding it difficult to lose weight, but that’s probably half down to my own efforts). I did suffer from thrush EVERY month for about a year - came off the pill for 3 months, and when I went back on, I never got thrush again! Overall a great experience.

I started this pill after coming off Yasmin, i had a horrible time with yasmin so i was nervous. But this pill was amazing. My moods were fairly stable, my skin got better my weight regulated. I initially had some mild side effects but they stopped after a few months. I was on this pill from 15-22 and i never had any problems. I have recently had to change to a mini pill as I can’t take pills with oestrogen in any more, i was annoyed to come off Lizinna because it worked so well for me. I would definitely recommend it

Only used Lizinna for a week or so but had to stop immediately as everytime to took it I broke out in full-body hives/rash. Presumably I was allergic to some of it components but yeah not a good experience at all.

I was previously on cilest and was told it was discontinued and they swapped me onto lizinna, I have been using it for 2 or so years and now wanting to switch. Noticed side effects were increased weight gain, despite eating the same and exercising I have not been able to loose weight the same as before, I used to be quite skinny and despite the same eating pattern have put on lots of weight, with weight gain my breasts are significantly larger. My sex drive has definitely lowered. In terms of skin it has been good for my skin although I never suffered with bad skin previously. I feel as though the side effects from this pill have definitely taken a while to become noticeable, as at first I had no real issue with it.

Having previously been on the mini-pill Cerazette for a few years I was having a continuous issue with cystic acne. After topical creams and antibiotics not working I decided to change pill and I was prescribed Lizzinna. At first, my skin did start to clear up and my acne was nothing like it was before but the breast pain/enlargement that came with it was just unbareable. I’ve stuck at this pill for 2 months now hoping this side effect would wear off but it’s still agony just to take my bra off at the end of the day. Im also really really struggling to lose any weight and my weight has actually gone up since I started this pill, even though I’ve been eating well and exercising regularly. With any other pill I’ve been on, losing weight was never an issue so I don’t think this is a coincidence. My skin is not as clear as it was when I first started this one either so looking for other recommendations now.

Started taking Lizanna after changing from Rigevidon as I heard all the horror stories about it and it wasn’t helping me in anyway whatsoever. I was still miserable and depressed from the pill and it didn’t help my periods, BUT neither does Lizanna. However after starting Lizanna my periods and much heavier and 10x as painful, the low back pain I get from it is agony. The pain keeps me awake all night and feeling utterly uncomfortable.
