Experience

The only reason I’m taking Cerazette is to fully stop my periods. I have terrible PMS where the symptoms last for 3 weeks out of the 4. Awful aches and pains, headaches, tender breasts, suicidal thoughts, very aggressive resulting in falling out with everyone around me…including work colleagues in every job I have had. Doesn’t help when most people don’t have an ounce of understanding just how you feel but make you feel twice as crap instead. I’ve been on the pill since 2013, with no pill break in between so no more periods and no more PMS symptoms but has caused me mood swings, stress, anxiety, tiredness, weight gain and feeling really down to the point that I don’t want to be here anymore. I am in a real situation, do I continue to live life whilst on this pill feeling down or do I come off it, periods return and the PMS return. For the past two years I have been taking Sertraline for anxiety, which has picked up my mood but my weight increased giving me an incredible appetite for carbs. I have come off it now and I’m eating less but my mood swings have returned. I’m 51 years old and may only have 2 years left before I must stop this pill anyway. Would be great to stop this pill and find my periods have gone for good…menopause, yer I can dream. I would say to anyone out there, this pill is worth a try, if not just try another. Who would be a woman?
