Experience

I had the implant inserted in December 2018 and removed March 2021. After insertion I noticed that my breasts were quite sore and I was more emotional than usual. However, these side effects settled and I enjoyed a few months of lighter periods and longer cycles. After a while the weight gain began to creep up and despite efforts to lose it, it just wasn’t budging (I had previously lost weight much more easily).

Experience after taking

It’s been a couple of weeks since removal so I’m not sure of any changes that may happen long term. A few days after removal I had what I believe is a withdrawal bleed, so I’m hoping my periods will be back to normal soon.
