Experience

Since coming off Mirena my mood and general mental well-being is better. I feel the Mirena made me feel foggy. It was given to me to stop heavy periods but I still got periods. I suffered thrush and ulcers while on the Mirena. The doctors said none of these symptoms were likely related to its use, and I know a lot of people are absolutely fine on the Mirena, but for me, they stopped after it came out so I’ve always felt they were somewhat related.

Experience after taking

Feel a lot better since coming off the Mirena and have since stayed away from regular hormonal contraceptives due noticing an improvement. My periods are still heavy but I’d prefer this to the other side effects I felt I was experiencing.
