Experience

I had the coil put in whilst I was still breastfeeding, in September ’17, my “normal” cycle didn’t return until March/April ’18. After I had my first cycle I had a migraine at the same time of the cycle for the next 4 months (which I’ve never had before) the migraines then stopped in August. I was then suffering with really bad constipation, which went on for months and ended up having a colonoscopy, which found no nasties thankfully, and although there’s no convulsive evidence for it I have put it down to the coil/ my cycle as end of October/November I stopped having periods and then my constipation also stopped. Due to wanted to try for a baby I had the coil removed end of November. I wouldn’t object to having the coil again, but next time I think I’ll choose the cooper coil so there’s no hormones.

Experience after taking

I feel like my body got back to normal fairly quickly! I’ve been TTC since January and still had no success, but I don’t think it is down to the coil.
