Copper coil (IUD)

Although the loss of sex drive and negative emotional side effects cannot be attributed to the copper IUD due to it being non hormonal, I am linking them with its use: the continuous back pain, which was heighted alongside terrible nausea during ovulation, left me clinically depressed. Which of course impacted upon sex drive as I was so miserable and also scared of increased pain. I had xrays and even an MRI at one point to try and find the cause of my debilitating back pain, I tried paying privately for physio, an osteopath and even cried through 8 acupuncture sessions. I had the coil removed and instantly my pain went.
