Experience

I noticed I was very moody, low in confidence, paranoid and anxious. I choose to have the coil removed as these are things I never usually have, the doctors where very reluctant to take it out trying to persuade me multiple times to keep it. Once removed I had a huge mood crash with anxiety so bad I couldn’t go to work or complete menial tasks for weeks even though I have never had anxiety in the past. Doctors wouldn’t believe me that the coil was to blame as there are no hormones but after doing some research I realised what I experienced is very very common. It took me a good year to feel completely myself again and I am now too scared to try any contraception so stick with condoms.

Experience after taking

I included this on the previous page mainly anxiety that the doctors refused to acknowledge. I then asked my mum and she said she had the same experience when she tried it many years ago. I have done a lot of research and a lot of people suffer from high copper levels from the coil which can cause the anxiety
