Experience

My third pill brand I’m trying. The first two were Rigevidon and Gedarel 20/150. I switched from Gedarel to Marvelon at my own request, because it seems to be better received due to its unique filler ingredient composition, and I was also getting spotting due to the low estrogen content. It definitely doesn’t make me depressed like Rigevidon did, but there’s a lot of issues, however subtle they are. I’ve done extensive research and read papers. This summarises it well: https://ideas.ted.com/how-the-birth-control-pill-affects-your-mood/ Every brand of the pill will affect your brain neurochemistry and adrenal glands/ stress response. For me, this one makes me irritable and mad at every little thing. It’s like being permanently on PMS rage. I will absolutely call everyone an idiot, get mad at people around me for simply breathing in the wrong way, and start arguments over everything. I literally turn into Gordon Ramsay, if he had PMS…
