Millinette 30/75 is a combined pill with a standard dose of oestrogen and a progestogen called gestodene. It may be a good option to try if the 'starter' pills like Microgynon and Rigevidon or similar don't suit you.

Great contraception at first. When I first started taking I did feel very depressed and did break out however no weight change or any other symptoms but after a few weeks i felt great and skin cleared as my body got used to it. About 1.5/2 years later I am experiencing extreme anxiety, panick attacks that can last hours, finding it hard to breathe doctors couldn’t tell me why, headaches with aura and bad migranes all day everyday, dizziness that has affected work and a week before period feel so depressed. Each time I have the period break my periods get heavier and more painful (used to have hardly any cramps) but has regulated my periods. Coming off for a break to remember what my normal self feels like and see if this is what is causing problems.

After trying multiple different pills from ages 16 to 19 I finally settled on this one. It was the first to come with no severe side effects for me and the nurse who suggested said she recommended it to her daughters and it was the best one in her opinion. I agree, as far as COCPs go this is the best in my opinion. It did lower my sex drive and alter my mood (more a feel less of everything type thing, I feel all emotions quite strongly now coming off it) but as I'd been on the pill since I first started my periods at 16 I can't reliably compare it to anything. It also masked irregular periods and a potential PCOS diagnosis but very happy with it all in all. If my PCOS symptoms get worse I'll be going back on it.

I changed to this pill from Microgynon 30 after it gave me bad hormonal acne. This pill has definitely helped improve my hormonal acne although it has not cleared completely (4 months in now). It has made my periods much lighter and shorter. Other than that no noticeable side effects to report, have got on a lot better with this pill than the other.

This combined pill mostly affected my mood. I would be perfectly fine 3 weeks and then the week leading up to my period I would have terrible anxiety, low moods, low self-esteem. Once my period was over, I’d be back to normal again. I’ve tried a few combined pills and this one is by far the worse.

I was recommended to go on this pill due to major mood swings around my period. It has improved my mood swings & mental health exponentially, I feel I can now function properly for the whole month. It’s a bonus that it’s cleared up my spots. The only negative side effects I’ve got is a decreased libido & dryness which personally don’t bother me.

This pill leveled out my mood so I didn't get as much pms. I took back to back for 3-6 months at a time, after about 6 months I would start to feel stressed/anxious and would need a break. On my break I would bleed heavily for several days on day 4, even though I started the pill again I still had the desire to have sex, though it wasn't as intense and it did not vary across the month. My main issue was vaginal dryness which was so bad that lube didn't help and sex became painful particularly when I was stressed. The effect increased over the course of being on the pill and was not consistent, but went away once I stopped it

Made me feel numb all of the time. In the end, the pill caused constant bleeding for three months, so my doctor switched me over.

I'm currently on a waiting list for a gynaecology assessment for potential endometriosis adhesions, and I went on this pill to prevent me from ovulating and having periods as these are both becoming disruptive. The first few days I had a bit of a headache but nothing major. Then I noticed my breasts were incredibly painful and this continued the whole time I was on it. I had low level cramping almost every day with occasional spotting. The worst part was my mood, it was very 'flat' and I felt quite withdrawn but in particular I felt incredibly anxious to the point of almost having a panic attack. I stopped taking it after 3.5 weeks and my symptoms eased straight away. I'm trying Zoely next so fingers crossed!

Mostly positive but the mood swings are the worst, never used to cry and now it’s nearly everyday! More regular periods and clearer skin, overall not bad!

I went on this for better skin and because of heavy periods. My periods have stopped but I get bad headaches, skin has gotten worse but I will give it another few months to see improvements. Also I've been getting cramping in my leg and arms which is concerning me, I'm not sure if its a blood clot related issue but I have never experienced this until taking this birth control pill.
